Title
The name of the Club shall be the “Ginetta Owners' Club” hereinafter referred to as the “Club”.
Objectives
(a) To provide members with information, advice and assistance on matters connected with the Ginetta marque.
(b) To further promote interest in motoring and motor sport.
(c) To promote the marque.
(d) To hold an Annual General Meeting.
(e) To hold at least one National Meeting.
(f) To arrange tours, lectures, discussions, social and other meetings.
Membership
Membership shall be open to all persons interested in the Ginetta marque. Each full member shall be entitled to one vote.
Management
The management of the Club shall be vested in the Committee of the said Club.
Election of Officers
The officers of the Club, which comprise the Committee, shall be:

Together with up to two additional posts elected by the Committee as deemed necessary and without recourse to the AGM.
Committee meetings shall require a quorum of at least four Committee members
All officers will retire at every AGM, but will be eligible for re-election. Retiring officers will not need to be nominated for re-election.
Other nominations should be lodged with the Secretary not less than seven (7) days prior to the AGM. Such nominations shall be signed by the nominee indicating willingness to stand. In the event of more than one member standing for a post, election shall be by a card vote at the AGM (i.e. members must register their vote by means of their membership card).
Banking
All monies of the Club shall be banked by the Treasurer, or his nominee, in the name of the Club, with such additions to the account name as may be of benefit to the Club.
Election of Members
Applications by candidates for membership of the Club shall be submitted to the Secretary and the election of such members shall be at the discretion of the Committee.
Subscription
The rate of subscription shall be set by the Committee and shall be payable from the 1st April each year.
Expulsion of Members
Revocation or refusal of membership - The Club reserves the right to revoke or refuse membership to any person who's membership as judged by an 85% majority of the whole committee would not be in the best interests of the Club and it's members. Anyone who having their membership refused or revoked shall have the right to appeal to the club membership directly by having their appeal added to the agenda of the following AGM where they would have the right to present their appeal.
Annual General Meeting
The Annual General meeting of the Club shall: (a) Receive the Statement of Accounts for the previous year. (b) Receive Officers’ reports on their activities during the year. (c) Elect the Committee. (d) Conduct any other business.
Special General Meeting
An SGM may be convened by the direction of the Committee, or on a request to the Secretary stating the reason for the SGM, signed by six (6) Club members.
Notice of General Meeting
All members shall receive written notice of General Meetings. Wherever possible at least one month’s notice shall be given.
Rules of the Club
All members shall be provided with a copy of the Club Rules. These Rules may be amended by decision of the members in General meeting. Each member must abide by the Rules of the Club.
Dissolution
The Club may be dissolved only following a decision by the majority of members. On dissolution, the Club shall be liquidated, and any surplus assets distributed equally between the membership.
GDPR – General Data Protection Regulation (Provisional)
The Ginetta Owners’ Club takes the security of our members’ details very seriously and we have reviewed our data protection policy so that we comply with the new General Data protection regulations, GDPR.
The New General Data Protection Regulations apply from 25/5/2018. The data you provide when you join the Club or if you inform it of changes is necessary for the contract of membership between you and the Club. The legal basis for the Club holding this data is Legitimate Interest.
Club committee members and other officers who are responsible for administering club activities (such as magazine mailing, purchases or organising activities) have access to your data. It will not be shared with other commercial organisations outside the club.
The club holds your data securely for the duration of your membership and afterwards until your membership is deemed to have lapsed permanently. A record of vehicle details and your data is kept in an Archive for purposes of vehicle authentication or historical research.
You have the right to request access to your data, to ask for errors to be corrected or for your personal data to be erased. (Erasure would mean loss of membership as without it the contract of membership between you and the club ceases.)
