Further Details - The Series 2 G15 was essentially an amalgamation of all the minor improvements made during the production of the 12 Series 1 G15’s plus the incorporation of changes made by Chrysler to the Imp during 1968. In particular the new Imp steering column was fitted to the G15 which came with a single stalk to operate the flashing indicators, headlamp dip and flash together with the horn push. Ginetta also took the chance to modify the brake and clutch pedals to improve their use; their operation was one of the biggest criticisms by owners of the earlier cars. The Series 2 was launched at the 1968 London Motor Show and saw immediate production.
Apart from a different heater arrangement bought in during 1969 for those that opted for this extra, which was most buyers, the Series 2 remained largely unchanged through to the next major revision of the model in the autumn of 1970.
